About RegenMed
The Lake Superior Centre for Regenerative Medicine, Inc. (RegenMed) is a not-for-profit charity that incorporated in 2004 with the intention of creating a local source of transplantable bone for Northwestern Ontario surgeons. Since the creation of RegenMed, we have broadened our vision and are now focused on greatly increasing human tissue donation, as well as the supply of transplantable tissue in Canada. Our goal is to be a leading, state-of-the-art tissue recovery and processing centre, offering advanced processing techniques such as specialized sizing, lyophilization (freeze-drying) and demineralization to Canadian surgeons. In the future, we plan on creating a biomedical research facility focused on regenerative therapies.
