 | Dr. Jaro KotalikProfessor Jaroslav F. Kotalik, MD, MA, DMRT, FRCP(C) Physician-Bioethicist and Founding Director of CHCE In the past, Jaro has served as the Radiation Oncologist and CEO of Thunder Bay Regional Cancer Centre and as a Vice President of Cancer Care Ontario. He was a member of Biomedical Ethics Committee of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and of the National Council for Ethics in Human Research. He is also a Clinical Professor, Department of Medicine, McMaster University, and a co-chair of the Ethics Team of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and a member of the Research Ethic Board of Lakehead University. Jaro has published articles and book chapters, given numerous workshops and served as consultant on ethics of patient caregiver relationship, discrimination by age, ethics of human research, professional codes of ethics and ethics of public health, especially public policy influenza pandemic. |
