Position Available	Description
Intern	Client Services / Quality Assurance Support Staff RegenMed values Quality. Quality underpins RegenMed’s mission and is integral to all activities performed by RegenMed. The Quality Assurance Department oversees the Quality Management System, which is designed to achieve total client satisfaction in all the services and products RegenMed supplies and to ensure that RegenMed meets or exceeds all regulations and standards applicable to tissue banking. The Client Services/Quality Assurance Support Staff (CS/QA Person) will play an important role in assuring client satisfaction. The CS/QA Person reports to the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Manager (QA/RC Manager) for Quality related responsibilities and reports to the Office Manager for responsibilities pertaining to Client Services. The CS/QA Officer will be responsible for answering phones and handling emails with clients and RegenMed Sales Reps. CS/QA Officer will be responsible for the receipt and distribution of tissue as well as maintaining the computerized inventory system. RegenMed maintains approximately 400 controlled documents. Document Control will be a key responsibility of the CS/QA Officer, including: Maintaining regulated electronic documents in Q-Pulse, a quality management software application, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms and labels Maintaining up-to-date master document binders for all controlled documents Controlling changes made to regulated documents and internally distributing new or revised documents The CS/QA Officer will be responsible for qualifying suppliers of materials and services that are used by RegenMed following internal supplier qualification protocols , creating and adhering to a schedule for requalification of suppliers and maintaining an up-to-date list of qualified suppliers. The CS/QA Officer may be asked to perform internal audits of certain activities undertaken at RegenMed, as specified by the QA/RC Manager. RegenMed tracks information relating to the transplant of distributed tissue. The CS/QA Officer will be responsible for following up with transplant facilities that have not provided the required information or for clarifying information relating to the final disposition of tissue. Who is eligible? Unemployed or underemployed youth (under the age of 30) who have graduated with a degree or diploma from a post secondary institution within the last three years, are legally entitled to work in Canada, and have not been previously employed under a FedNor Youth Internship funding Agreement, or other Federal or Provincial Internship with pay for a period of six (6) months or more.
